Not yet Giving up on Comments
I have been really busy/distracted the last few weeks and haven't blogged much of anything, but this hasn't deterred the spambots from coming by and making a mess of things on a regular basis.
I am this close to turning comments off, but I really value the feedback and hearing others' POV on the things I say, and would like to keep them on.
So, rather than give up just yet, I've decided to give mt-blacklist a try. Its both a cleaning tool and filter, that uses regexp's to filter incoming comments. I will keep an eye on things, to make sure that valid entries come through (positve or negative) but keep the nonsense out.
Something more substantial soon...
