Comments
Like so many other movable type users, I am forced to deal with comment spam. And like so many others, I now have an entry on my blog saying how I am changing my comment policy to deal with the problem.
Because I am having some issues with getting email working from the new webserver, using mt blacklist effectively is a bit harder (i.e. it takes longer for me to know that I've been spammed).
So, I have closed comments on all open entries across the blog. Further, I am instituting a new policy where I will only leave comments open on front-page entries (currently set at 10), or for two weeks whichever is shorter.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause my readers.
